Description
St. Peter's House is a 17th-century house located on Queens Street in Culworth. The building features coursed limestone rubble with banding of limestone and squared ironstone quoins, topped by a tiled roof and brick stacks. It is two stories high with an attic and consists of three bays.
The doorway, located in the second bay from the right, has a wooden lintel, a four-panel door, and a flat wooden hood supported by brackets. To the right of the doorway is a three-light casement window with a wooden lintel. On the left, there are two three-light casement windows, also with wooden lintels, while a larger three-light casement window is found to the right. The first floor has three-light casement windows with wooden lintels as well.
Notably, there is a blocked two-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor to the right side, a blocked window with a stone frame and square hood on the first floor, and a blocked two-light stone mullioned window with a square hood in the attic. The interior has not been inspected.
