Description

The wall and gatepiers at the entrance to The Old Rectory were built in the 19th century and are made of ironstone ashlar. There is a pair of square gatepiers on the west side, each topped with a gabled design. A 20th-century five-bar timber gate is situated between these gatepiers. To the east, there is a wall with stone coping that ends in a similar gatepier at the east entrance to the Rectory. This structure is included for its group value.
