Description

Fulford House is an 18th-century house located on the north side of the Green in Culworth. The house is constructed of coursed squared ironstone with a slate roof and brick and stone stacks. It has two bays. A 19th-century gabled stone porch with a stone archway forms the entrance in the second bay from the left; the inner doorway has a plain stone frame and a 20th-century eight-panel door. A three-light casement window with a wood lintel sits to the left of the porch, and two similar windows are to the right. Above, there are three-light casement windows on the first floor. The gable ends are coped and feature kneelers. A lower extension to the right, dating from the 18th and 19th centuries, is built of similar materials and has two storeys and one bay, featuring three-light casement windows with wood lintels on the ground floor and a single similar window on the first floor. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
