Description

Old Lion Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Moreton Pinkney Main Road. It is constructed from coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, topped with an artificial stone slate roof and flanked by brick and stone stacks. The cottage features two storeys and an attic, with two bays. On both floors, there are two 2-light casement windows that have wooden lintels and leaded panes. The gable ends are coped, and the entrance at the rear includes a 20th-century stone porch with a half-glazed door and a wooden lintel. Inside, there is a set of chamfered beams and a winder staircase.
