Description

This fire station, built in 1871, is located on the south side of Main Road in Moreton Pinkney. Constructed from coursed squared ironstone with brick dressings and a slate roof, it features one storey and a loft. The entrance has a four-centred moulded brick arch with double plank doors. The loft opening is framed with moulded brick and has a plank door. The gable has moulded brick eaves. This building was originally built for Edward Sempill of Moreton Pinkney Manor as the estate fire station. The interior has not been inspected. It is included for its group value.
