Description

More Hall and barn is an early 18th-century cottage, enlarged in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone and coursed rubble, with an asbestos tile roof and brick stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and two storeys, with two bays. The ground floor windows are 3-light, with wooden lintels and old iron casements. A similar 3-light window is located in the right bay on the first floor, while a window to the left is blocked.

Adjacent to the cottage is an 18th-century barn constructed of coursed ironstone and limestone rubble with a thatched roof. This barn has one storey and two bays, featuring a doorway in the left bay with a wooden lintel and plank door, and a single-light casement window to the right, also with a wooden lintel.

A 19th-century brick extension with a slate roof projects from the rear, comprising one storey and one bay. The extension has an entrance in the left bay, framed by a wooden lintel and a 20th-century half-glazed door. A 4-light casement window with a wooden lintel is present to the right; a similar 3-light window is above it on the first floor. The interior of the main building has not been inspected.
