GV II

Cottage. C17/C18. Coursed squared ironstone and coursed rubble, partly banded with limestone, first floor on left bay rendered. Tile roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Left bay is gabled and projects slightly, Entrance in second bay from right has C20 gabled stone porch, and doorway with concrete lintel and part-glazed plank door. 2-light casement windows with wood lintel on either side. C20 casement window in left bay in place of former doorway. 2-light casement windows with wood lintels on first floor, Right bay is a later build marked by squared quoins and stone coping of former gable end of first house. Interior: Open fireplace with original bressumer, altered C20, Doorway with 4-centred wood arch, probably C17.
