Description

The Old Vicarage is a house dating from circa 1700, with alterations made in the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed ironstone and coursed rubble, with a slate roof and stone chimney stacks. The house has an L-shaped layout and comprises two storeys and an attic, with three bays. A central porch features a straight moulded entablature and cast iron Tuscan columns. The inner doorway has panelled reveals and a 20th-century half-glazed door. Sash windows with stone lintels are located on either side of the facade. A sash window on the first floor has wooden lintels. The gable ends are coped with kneelers. A hipped roof to the rear wing joins the main roof to the left of centre. The interior remains uninspected.
