Description

Sundial Cottage is an 18th-century cottage located on the north side of Essen Lane in Kilsby. The construction consists of coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, with a thatched roof and a brick stack situated to the left of the centre. The cottage is a single storey with an attic, comprising four bays. A gabled timber porch with a thatched roof shelters the doorway in the second bay from the left, which features a wooden lintel above the door. There are three-light casement windows with wooden lintels to the left and two similar windows to the right. A half dormer window, also with a wooden lintel and a three-light casement, is visible in the attic. The right gable end has a coping. The interior has not been inspected.
