Description

Japonica is an 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Kilsby Main Road. The building is constructed of coursed limestone and ironstone rubble, with a corrugated iron roof and brick stacks on either side. It has two storeys and three bays. The central doorway features a wooden surround with panelled pilasters, an entablature with a lozenge pattern, a flat moulded hood, and a six-panel door. Three-light casement windows with wooden lintels are present on the ground floor, while two-light casement windows with wooden lintels occupy the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
