Description

Holly Tree House is an 18th-century house, dated 1758 with a datestone. It was remodelled in the 19th century. The house is constructed of squared coursed ironstone, with a corrugated iron roof and brick stacks. It has two storeys and an attic, with three bays. A 20th-century brick porch sits at the front, leading to an inner doorway with a plain wooden surround and a 20th-century plank door, flanked by side lights and an overlight. The ground floor has similar 20th-century sash windows with old wooden lintels. The first floor features similar windows. The gable ends are coped and have kneelers. A 19th-century brick extension is attached to the left with a slate roof and two bays. This extension has 3-light casement windows with flat arched brick heads on both floors. The interior has not been inspected.
