Description
Fairview is a house dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is said to be constructed of cob, now faced with brick above a stone plinth, and features an asbestos tile roof. The house has a brick stack to the left of the center and a smaller stack to the left. It is two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. The entrance, located in the second bay from the right, has a wood lintel and a half-glazed plank door. To the right of the entrance is a three-light casement window with a wood lintel, and there are two similar windows to the left. The first floor has three-light casement windows with wood lintels. Inside, there is an open fireplace with a bacon cupboard on the left side, a set of chamfered beams in the ground floor rooms, an original winder staircase at the rear, and an original roof structure.
