Description
The Limes is a house built in the early 19th century, with a datestone indicating it was constructed in 1825. The building is made of coursed ironstone rubble and features squared quoins, a hipped slate roof, and flanking brick stacks. It has two storeys and four bays. The entrance, located in the second bay from the left, is framed by moulded wood pilasters and an entablature decorated with a lozenge pattern. The entrance also has panelled reveals and a four-panel door with an overlight. To the left of the entrance is a 16-pane sash window with a rendered lintel, and there are two similar windows to the right, along with matching windows on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
