Description
This building is a malt house, now used as a garage and store, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a slate roof. The structure is one storey high with a loft and consists of three bays. There is a window in the right bay that has a wooden lintel, but the opening is boarded up. To the left, there is an unglazed opening also with a wooden lintel. Three ends of joists from the loft floor protrude through the wall above. In the left bays, there is a two-light window for the loft, which also has a wooden lintel. On the right side, stone steps lead to a left entrance that features a wooden lintel and a plank door. The gable ends are coped and have kneelers. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
