Former Malthouse, Pindrup Farm

The former malthouse at Pindrup Farm, dating from the 18th century, is currently used for storage. It features random roughly squared limestone with dressed stone quoins and a stone slate roof. The building has a long rectangular plan with a contemporary extension at right angles at the rear and stands two storeys tall.

On the north-east elevation, there are four 2-light casement windows on the ground floor, three of which have heavy-pegged wooden frames and wooden shutters. Above these, there are three matching windows with shutters, and a small fixed 2-light casement is located below the eaves on the upper left. The south-east gable end has double doors leading to a garage. On the south-west front, there is a low double doorway off-centre to the left, with a 2-light window featuring a heavy-pegged frame and shutters above. Stone steps lead up to a plank door that accesses the malting floor, positioned to the right of the double doorway. The forward-facing gable to the right includes a pitching door and a small 2-light fixed casement. The north-west gable end has two low openings with a single timber lintel, likely remnants of former pigsties, and a 2-light window with a heavy-pegged frame, timber lintel, and shutters above.

Inside, the building comprises seven bays with original collar and tie beams, and the walls are plastered.
