Description
Peggotty is one of a pair of cottages from the 18th century, located in Coln St Dennis, Fossebridge. The building is constructed of thinly-bedded limestone and features a stone slate roof with a rectangular plan. There is a 20th-century flat-roofed two-storey extension at the rear, which is not of special interest. The cottage has two storeys and a two-windowed facade, with one 2-light and one 3-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement on the ground floor, and two 20th-century two-light casements on the upper floor. The central entrance is a 20th-century fielded six-panel door with a timber lintel. The cottage is prominently situated at a 'T'-junction. The interior has not been inspected.
