Description
College Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with squared ironstone quoins and features a slate roof with flanking stacks that have stone bases. The upper part of the left stack has been rebuilt in concrete, while the left stack is rendered. The building has three storeys and an attic, arranged in three bays.
The central doorway has a wooden lintel and features a four-panel half-glazed door topped with a flat wooden hood supported by brackets. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows, also with wooden lintels. The second and third floors each have three-light casement windows with wooden lintels in the outer bays, and a similar two-light window in the centre. There is a one-light attic window with a wooden lintel on the right side. The gable ends are coped and have kneelers. The interior has not been inspected.
