Description
Vine Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with freestone quoins and dressings, and features a half-hipped stone slate gambrel roof with two brick stacks at the rear. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a symmetrical three-window facade. There are three 20th-century raking dormers and 6/6-pane sash windows set in plain ashlar surrounds, with the central first-floor window being smaller. Above the entrance, there is a pediment with reeded edges supported by brackets, which frames a 20th-century door. The interior has not been inspected.
