Description
A pair of semi-detached houses dating from the mid-19th century, located in Chippenham. The houses are constructed of limestone ashlar with a hipped slate roof, featuring wide eaves and a moulded ashlar ridge stack on the party wall. They have a double-depth plan. The exterior presents a symmetrical four-window facade. Rusticated pilasters form quoins and run along the party wall. The windows are 6/6-pane sash windows without horns, each with raised surrounds. There are doors at each end of the facade, the door to the left (number 2) dating to the 19th century and the door to the right (number 1) dating to the 20th century. Each door has an overlight and a shallow hood supported by brackets. The interior of the houses was not inspected.
