Description

Red Lion House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring flush quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof. The building has two gable end stacks and one central brick stack. The gables are stone-coped with kneelers and a projecting eaves band.

The house is three storeys high and has a three-bay front. On the ground floor, there are three 2-light mullioned windows and an off-centre panelled door. Above these, there are three similar windows, with an additional three smaller windows located at the eaves. All the windows have been recently and sympathetically replaced with small-paned casements.
