Description

The Manor House is a house dated 1774 and 1860, constructed from coursed limestone rubble with quoins and flush gritstone dressing. It features a plain tile roof, with one ridge and two gable end brick stacks. The building has three storeys, two ranges, and a three-bay front. The front includes three 2-light flush mullion windows and an off-centre door, which is covered by a 20th-century glazed porch. Above these, there are three similar windows and a blocked single light opening over the porch. At the eaves, there are three shallower 2-light flush mullion windows, with a datestone from 1774 above a blocked stairlight. The rear range has a large stone bay window facing south, large brick stacks, and a datestone from 1860 in the north gable.
