Description

Vine Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is built of regular coursed limestone rubble and features a hipped slate roof with brick end stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has a two-window range facing to the right. The central entrance consists of a plank door set within a wooden door-frame, topped by a fanlight with Gothick glazing bars and a keyblock head. On either side of the entrance are three-light wooden casement windows with glazing bars, stone sills, and cambered heads. There are two similar windows on the first floor. A fire plaque is located above the doorway at first floor level. The interior has not been inspected.
