Description

Halford Forge is an early 19th-century forge constructed from regular coursed limestone rubble. It features a hipped and gabled red tile roof with brick ridge and end stacks. The building is single storey, with a 20th-century entrance on the right end. To the left, there is a 2-light wood framed window, and to the right, a small 3-light window, both of which have wood lintels. Inside, there is a brick forge. The forge occupies a prominent corner site and is included for its group value.
