Description
This is a house located at 2 Northampton Road, with a datestone indicating it was built in 1769. The building features regular coursed lias stonework and has a 20th-century plain tiled roof. It has a one-unit plan, is two stories tall with an attic, and has an entrance on the right that includes a 20th-century panelled door and hood. The windows are three-light casements with leaded lights set under wooden lintels. The roof is gabled, with ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, and there is a moulded stone cornice. Brick stacks are located at the ridge and ends of the roof. To the right, there is a single-storey wing with an attic, which is likely from the mid-18th century, featuring a two-light casement window under a flat arch. Additionally, there is an early 19th-century wing at the rear.
