Description

The Cottage is a house dating from 1764, built of squared coursed lias with a plain tiled roof. It has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic. The front features a three-window range of stone mullions with arched headed lights. The gable parapets are made of ashlar, and there are brick and stone stacks at the ridge and end of the building. A 19th-century porch with a four-centred head leads to a 20th-century door. The rear of the house is similar in style and includes a projecting wing with a datestone in the gable.
