Description
Pitsford Lodge, also known as Sedgebrook Home Farm, is a farmhouse that has been converted into two houses. It dates from the early 18th century and is built of regularly coursed lias stone with a thatched roof. The original design was a two-unit plan, and the building stands two storeys high with an attic. It features 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars and wood lintels, as well as an eyebrow dormer. There are later 18th-century wings added to the front and rear, creating a cross plan. Early 20th-century entrances are located in the cross wings, all of which have ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. There are brick stacks at the ridge and ends of the building. Additionally, there are 19th-century barns attached to the left side and the rear cross-wing.
