Description
Mill Farm Cottage is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone with an ashlar facade and has a concrete tile roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall. It features a two-window range that is positioned at right angles to the road, with 20th-century casements set in original openings beneath wood lintels. There is a central 19th-century plank door, also under a wood lintel. The cottage has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with truncated ashlar stacks at both ends. A fire insurance plaque is located above the door. The rear elevation, which faces the road, includes some 19th-century casements under wood lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
