Description
Greenmeadow Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared and dressed limestone, featuring dressed stone quoins, with a stone slate roof at the front and concrete tiles at the rear. The building has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high with an attic.
The entrance front is symmetrical with three windows, which are lit by three-light casements that have horizontal glazing bars. The ground floor windows have large dressed stone lintels, while the first floor windows have segmental heads. There are two 2-light eaves dormers and two skylights positioned between the dormers. The central entrance features a 19th-century four-panelled door, with the upper two panels glazed, and is sheltered by a central gabled, part-glazed porch. The farmhouse has gable-end stacks. The interior has not been inspected. There are 20th-century extensions at the rear and an extension to the west gable end, which are not of special interest.
