Includes: Main entrance gateway to Burre House with attached wing walls BASLOW ROAD. Gateway with attached wing walls. Mid C19. Rock-faced sandstone walling with ashlar piers; wooden gate. Serpentine wing walls with chamfered copings and end piers. Main drive flanked by square-sectioned gate piers with punched panels to monolithic shafts on moulded plinths; cornices and upswept pedestals to large ball finials. Decorative wooden gate with 3 ovals beneath mid-rail and slatwork above. Forms part of the setting of Burre House (qv).
