Description
The entrance gateway and wall at Treberfydd date back to the 19th century. The courtyard wall runs from the stable range to the garden wall that connects to the main house, featuring a large canted bay in its design. It is constructed of coursed rubble that was once colour-washed, topped with saddleback coping that steps up to the garden wall. The gateways are flanked by piers that have steep pyramidal caps, inset quatrefoil decoration, and battered plinths. To the east, there are decorative wooden gates with spear stanchions, although one side has lost its boarding.
