Description
The walled terrace and steps in Treberfydd garden are made of coursed stone rubble with ashlar dressings and step down from the house. The wall features steep saddleback ashlar coping and ends with piers that have tall pyramidal caps on either side of a flight of stone steps. The swept returns that border the steps also end in piers with similar caps, which are higher. These elements frame a walk that leads to one of the stepped entrance archways to the walled garden at the far end. Additionally, the wall includes a similar pier located halfway along its length.
