Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century that has been altered. It is constructed from limestone and sandstone rubble with red tile roofs. The building has two storeys and features a two-window range, along with a single-storey side wing on the left that also has two windows. The exterior includes irregular quoins, and the doorway, located to the right of the centre, has a part-glazed door with a plain lintel. The windows are two-light, square-faced, mullioned designs with wooden casements that have 6- and 8-pane configurations. The verges overhang, and there are brick stacks at the ends. The one-storey addition has two two-light casements with glazing bars. At the rear, there is roughcast walling with an offset below the current eaves line. The interior has not been inspected.
