Description
Lodge Farm is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a hipped pantiled roof with two red brick wall stacks. The building has a parallel ranges plan and is two stories high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a glazed doorway with a plain ashlar lintel and keyblock, which is covered by a 20th-century gabled wooden porch. On either side of the entrance are single three-light plain sash windows with timber lintels. The first floor has a central two-light casement window flanked by two similar windows at the eaves. Inside, the property retains two semicircular headed recesses with broad architraves and keyblocks, as well as two raised and fielded panelled cupboard doors.
