Description
Manor House is a house dating from the mid 18th century, with later alterations in the early 19th century, mid 19th century, and 20th century. It is constructed of coursed squared limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. The building has an L-plan layout and a slate roof with raised stone coped gables, along with two 20th-century brick gable stacks.
The house has a two-storey plus garret design and a three-bay front that includes a plinth and a red brick dog tooth eaves course. The central entrance features a four-panelled door with a plain overlight, which is sheltered by a 20th-century openwork wooden porch. On either side of the entrance are single canted bay windows with plain sashes and flat lead roofs. The first floor has three plain sashes with segmental heads, ashlar lintels, and keyblocks.
