Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a pantile roof with stone coped gables and two brick gable stacks with stone bases. The building is L-shaped and has a two-storey, five-bay front with a plinth and chamfered stone eaves. The central entrance has a 20th-century planked door, flanked by pairs of 20th-century glazing bar casements. On the first floor, there are five similar windows. All openings have flat wedge stone lintels, with the doorway featuring a raised keystone. Inside, the house retains raised and fielded dado panelling, 18th-century fitted cupboards in three rooms, and a staggered butt purlin roof.
