Description
Farm buildings at Lodge Farm date from the early 19th century and were altered in the 20th century. They are constructed from coursed squared limestone rubble with red brick dressings and have hipped slate roofs. The layout features two crew yards surrounded by buildings on three sides. The front range includes a two-storey waggon hovel and granary on the right, and a single-storey range on the left. The waggon hovel has a two-storey, four-bay front with segmental arches supported by chamfered square brick piers, featuring brick reveals. On the first floor, there is a central planked doorway flanked by two sliding glazing bar sash windows with segmental brick heads. To the left, there is an archway with a segmental brick head, followed by a fixed two-light window. The front also includes two broad planked doorways and another fixed two-light window with a segmental brick head. These buildings are included for their group value.
