Description

The war memorial, located to the south of the parish church in North Rauceby, was erected in 1921 by the local parishioners and funded through public subscription. Made of limestone, it is designed in a late medieval style and stands on double octagonal steps with a chamfered plinth. The octagonal base features blind tracery on each face and includes an inscription listing the names of those who died in the Great War. The memorial has a moulded base, a tall octagonal shaft, and a plain capital, with the upper cross adorned with carved decorative detailing.
