Description

The village cross in North Rauceby, located on The Green, dates from the 14th century and the 19th century. It is made of limestone ashlar. The 14th-century base transitions from a square shape to an octagonal section, featuring stop-chamfered edges. This base supports a tapering octagonal shaft, which now holds a 19th-century gabled tabernacle topped with a crocketed pinnacle and a cross fleury.
