Description
Lodge Farmhouse, along with an attached stable and barn, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a slate roof and features brick end stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has a toothed eaves band. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, with the central window being narrower than the others. The windows are 20th-century casements set within 18th-century segmental-headed openings. There is a central half-glazed door with a rectangular overlight beneath a segmental arch. To the right, there is a lower two-storey single-bay wing that includes a glazed porch and segmental-headed windows. The barn and stable are attached at right angles to the left of the farmhouse. The barn has three bays with a blocked central carriageway and perforated openings on each side, along with boarded doors to the left and right. The stable, adjoining the farmhouse on the right, features a boarded door with a loft opening above.
