Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It is constructed of painted brick and features a slate roof with raised verges and a central brick stack. The building has a baffle-entry plan and stands two storeys high, with rusticated stone quoins of unequal length and dentilled brick eaves. The front has a regular five-window arrangement, with mainly 20th-century casements set within original openings that have flat brick arches and raised key blocks. The central window on the first floor is blind. To the left on the ground floor, there is a large 20th-century window that occupies the position of two original windows, the heads of which still survive. The central entrance features a six-panelled door with a bolection-moulded surround and a cornice hood. To the right of the farmhouse, there is a garage built in front of the house. Additionally, there are 19th-century two-storey extensions to the right, which include a gabled wing and a single-bay link with a lean-to building in front, resulting in irregular fenestration.
