Description

Mythe Lane Cottage is a 17th-century house that was restored in the 20th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill panels and has a plain tile roof with a brick central stack. Originally a two-bay baffle-entry plan, the house now has one storey and an attic, featuring four tiers of square panels and straight braces. The front of the house has two windows; large 19th-century glazing bar casements, and two dormers. A half-glazed door is located on the left-hand side. A two-storey single-bay brick extension is attached to the left. The right-hand gable-end reveals an exposed queen strut roof truss.
