Description
Coles Hill Farm House is a 17th-century house that was restored in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a brick and stone plinth, with whitewashed brick and render infill to the exposed frame, topped with plain tiled roofs. The house is two storeys high and consists of two framed bays, with a rebuilt H-section stack at the center that has a corbelled top. On the first floor, there are two three-light casement windows at the outer ends and three small windows in the center. The ground floor has two windows. Originally, there was a lobby entry, which is now blocked, but the margin lights remain. A door is located on the left-hand return front of a single-storey brick extension that is set back to the left. There is also a 20th-century outshot at the center of the rear. The house has undergone extensive restoration and enlargements in the 20th century.
