Description

Lingfield Lodge Farm House is a 17th-century house, restored in the 20th century. It is timber framed, with a rendered plinth and whitewashed brick cladding to the ground floor. The upper part is exposed close framing, with red and blue brick infill on the left return front. The roof is tiled, with a hipped section to the right and a half-hipped section to the left, featuring gables. There is a stack of three chimney flues to the left of centre. The house has two storeys and an attic, with a leaded casement dormer. It has four bays, with irregular diamond-pane leaded casement windows. A four-light window is located to the left and right of centre, and a five-light window to the right end. The ground floor has two four-light windows, and one cambered-head window to the left. An arched planked door is set within a gabled timber-framed porch on the left return front.
