Description

Hoopers Farm House is a house dating from the 16th century, which was remodeled in the 19th century and extended in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a stone plinth, with red and blue brick cladding below and tile hung above in a diamond pattern, accented by bands of plain tiles. The roofs are plain tiled, with an oversailing gable on the right side. There is a ridge stack to the left of the center and additional stacks at the rear. The main front runs parallel to the rear, with side wings forming a square plan and a 20th-century wing facing the street. The house has two storeys and an attic, with two gabled casement dormers on the right. The windows are regularly arranged, with three Cly casement windows on each floor. A boarded door is located to the left, set in a trellis gabled porch with a flight of steps. A stone plaque on the left-hand chimney reads "TP 1700". The left-hand return front features four gables, one of which projects to the right, along with pent roof extensions. The right-hand return front is lower and has two windows on each floor, with a ribbed door to the right. The street front has a gable on the left and four windows across the ground floor. Inside, the framing is visible.
