10/223 Hoopers Farm House 11/6/58 II*

House. C16, remodelled in C19, extended in C20. Timber framed on stone plinth with red and blue brick cladding below, tile hung above in diamond patterning with bands of plain tiles. Plain tiled roofs with oversailing gable to right. Ridge stack to left of centre and stacks to rear. Main front to rear parallel with one; side wings forming square plan with C20 wing to street. 2 storeys and attic under two gabled casement dormers to-right. Regular fenestration of Cly casement windows, 3 on each floor. Boarded door to left in trellis gabled porch with flight of steps. Stone plaque on left hand chimney reads "TP 1700". Left hand return front: 4 gables, one to right projecting. Pent roof extensions. Right hand return front: Lower with two windows to each floor, ribbed door to right. Street front: Gable to left. 4 windows across ground floor.
