Description
This is an 18th-century barn located at Greybury Farm, to the north-west of the farmhouse. The barn is timber-framed and clad with weatherboarding, resting on a brick base. It features a tiled roof that is gabled to the north-east and half-hipped to the south-west. The barn is L-shaped, consisting of 4 bays by 2 bays, and includes cart entrances with a pentice roof on the north-west side. The longer post on the north-eastern side has an angled Queen strut roof supported by through purlins and lacks a ridge piece, while diagonal tension braces provide additional support. The shorter posts on the south-west side feature a Queen post roof with through purlins and some rafters that have been renewed. The joint posts have a sharp curved profile.
