Description

Mill Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with restoration work carried out in the 20th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill set on a painted stone plinth, topped by a half-hipped tile roof. The building consists of two framed bays aligned north to south, with an external stack located at the south gable. The east front has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by two gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are three two-light casement windows, with two of them paired on the left side, all featuring plank weatherings. The entrance is located on the rear (west) elevation. The framing includes three square panels high with straight angle braces.
