Description
Hindle Wakes is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with painted brick and rendered infill, consisting of two framed bays aligned in a north-west to south-east direction. The house has a gable-end brick stack on the south-east side. The front elevation has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by an eyebrow dormer on the right. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows, and the entrance is located in the right gable, accessed through a 20th-century glazed porch. The framing consists of three square panels high, supported by straight tension braces.
