Description

Stewards Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some early 19th century and mid-20th century alterations. It has a timber-frame structure with painted brick infill and a tiled roof. The building consists of two framed bays that are aligned east to west, featuring gable-end external brick stacks. It is one storey high with an attic that is illuminated by two gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are two 3-light casement windows. The entrance, located to the right of the centre, has a 20th century panelled door, and there is a single-storey 19th century extension to the right. The framing consists of three square panels high, with straight angle braces.
