Description

Lodge Cottage is a house located on Village Street in Chaddesley Corbett. It dates back to the 17th century, with mid-19th century and some late 20th century alterations. The building features a timber frame with painted brick infill and has been extended in painted brick, topped with a machine tile roof. It consists of three framed bays, with an additional brick bay added to the north. The house is two storeys high, except for the right side, which has one storey with an attic that is lit by a gabled dormer. The rest of the building has three two-light casements, while the ground floor has five windows, which are modern casements. The entrance is located at the right-hand (north) gable end.
