Description
Saddlers Cottage is a house that possibly dates back to the 16th century and was remodeled in the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber frame that is clad in painted brick and has a tiled roof. The building has a T-plan layout, with a cross-wing to the south and another range extending to the north, parallel to the street. It is one storey high with an attic, which is lit by a three-light casement window in the gable on the left and two gabled dormers on the right. On the ground floor, there are three windows, including two bow windows and a three-light casement window on the right. The entrance is located on the left-hand return front. The framing is visible above the entrance, featuring one square panel below the eaves with a straight angle brace.
