Description

CHADDESLEY CORBETT CP VILLAGE STREET (west side) SO 8873 - 8973 14/66 Saddlers Cottage (previously listed as the Old Post Office) 20.10.52 GV II House. Possibly C16, remodelled early C18, with some mid-C20 alterations. Timber-frame clad in painted brick; tile roof. T-plan, cross-wing to south, other range extending to north parallel to street. One storey with attic lit by a 3-light casement in gable to left and two gabled dormers to right. Ground floor: three windows, two bow windows, with 3-light casement to right. Entrance to left-hand return front. Framing: visible over entrance, one square panel below eaves with straight angle brace.
